    About the role

G6 Hospitality, which represents the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brand has initiated a system-wide renovation effort, invested in technology and has expanded globally. The Revenue Manager is responsible for planning, executing and managing revenue management activities in designated operating regions for the Motel 6 brand. The critical success criteria of this role is maximizing sales revenue potential through the appropriate execution of hotel pricing and yield management tactics.


    This person will be working out of the home office in Phoenix, Arizona and traveling to multiple motel properties.


    What you will be doing


    This position plays an active role in the revenue division of franchise. This person will be responsible for planning and executing sound hotel pricing and yield management tactics with the goal of optimizing revenue performance for individual units. This person will analyze and measure pricing strategies and channel production by property and assigned territory. This person will formulate strategic plans for individual hotels and effectively define, execute and communicate actions to accomplish related objectives.

    • Train and coach Hotel Owners, General Managers, Regional Vice Presidents and Operational Directors on revenue management fundamentals
    • Build and maintain partnerships with Hotel Owners, General Managers, Regional Vice Presidents and Operational Directors
    • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate verbally and in writing the status, implications and impacts of performance indicators in the lodging industry
    • Self-directed, ability to multi-task and prioritize programs, projects and independent tasks at various levels of magnitude and complexity
    • Create ad-hoc reporting or tools to identify opportunities
    • Effectively manage discounts, restrictions and policies to maximize revenue potential at the unit level and review, evaluate, and assimilate benchmark vendor performance data information

    We feel the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:


    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent business experience
    • Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of related hotel business experience in revenue management role
    • Understands SRP, Inventory Controls, Hotel Restrictions, and Yield Management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate to a large audience
    • Travel up to 30%
