    Responsible for generating leads and increasing market share for the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands; through a variety of outbound call/e-mail campaigns and internet searches to a nationwide, diverse client base. This individual will leverage Trade Show attendee lists and develop a process to target and vet the most optimal prospective partners.  Establish a quick rapport with potential clients, uncover their needs and offer solutions through franchising. Drive the growth of the franchise business by pre-screening and qualifying potential franchisees, nurturing qualified leads throughout the buying process and guiding them towards becoming sales-ready opportunities.  The Lead Generation Support Administrator will also be responsible for the lead management process to ensure all existing leads are being handled properly by the Development team.

    • Prepare daily for the outbound campaign with the direction from senior management
    • Identify potential negotiation objections and build these into script outlines
    • Deliver prepared sales scripts, generate interest in franchising with potential clients, and secure client meetings with Franchise Developers
    • Educate clients on the brand franchising value proposition, fully explain the Motel 6/Studio 6 business models, pricing strategy and answer questions while building trust in the client relationship.
    • Follow up with clients via telephone and/or e-mail following initial sales contact
    • Uncover sales opportunities in target markets through internet searches, outbound calls, e-mails and webinars
    • Establish yourself with the potential client as knowledgeable about the company’s franchising product in order to build a relationship as a trusted advisor
    • Document activity of the campaigns and sales in database system regularly in order to facilitate analysis and reporting
    • Coordinate with Franchise Developers to transition opportunities from inquiries to sales-ready opportunities
    • Conduct database system account maintenance on potential clients and provide detailed reports
    • Handle clients in a professional, ethical and responsible manner
    • Participate in required meetings and be prepared to present lead results/client profile presentations
    • Continuously work to improve selling skills, management skills and product knowledge
    • Interact with other departments to supply sales and technical information as needed
    • Assist with tradeshows, VIP event coordination, and other events as needed
    • Professional tele-sales abilities with excellent oral and written communication
    • Ability to uncover the needs of the client by asking discovery questions based on ideal client profile
    • Self-starter, self-motivated and can deal with sales rejection
    • Ability to multi-task, meets deadlines, resourcefulness, accountable, follow-up and follow-through
    • Effective listener and excellent attention to details
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective inter-office relationships
    • Desire for and success at hunting new opportunities
    • Ability to develop quick rapport with clients and uncover opportunities
    • Proficient use of PC-based application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook



    • BS / BA degree in business, marketing, or related background or equivalent combination of experience, education or training
    • Two or more years of experience as a telemarketing or sales professional in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
