    Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt Team Members including FLSA calculations for multi states. Performs a wide variety payroll processing activities, including computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions. Demonstrates ability to audit payroll reports, process off-cycle checks, maintain Team Member tax data and direct deposit set up.  The successful candidate has serveral years of multi-state experience in payroll (including Canada and California) in a large scale organization within the restaurant, retail or hospitality landscape.

    • Verify payroll runs for compliance with federal, state  and local regulations and policies
    • Review and audit hours reported by time and attendance system
    • Maintain and set up direct deposit
    • Maintain and set up Team Member level tax information
    • Perform payroll data entry and manual adjustments
    • Prepare custom reports using Excel
    • Maintain extreme confidentiality of Team Member information
    • Possess high quality customer service
    • Read and interpret documents and instructions from customers, vendors, and other Team Members
    • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other Team Members



    • MUST HAVE Canada payroll experience
    • High school diploma or equivalency and a good math/accounting aptitude
    • Requires 1 to 2 years of related payroll experience
    • Preferred experience with PeopleSoft HRMS
    • Proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-Word
