    The role of Director, Assistant Treasurer is a key strategic function within the Treasury organization for G6 Hospitality.  This role will work closely with the Corporate Treasurer in representing the Treasury and Finance functions with various project teams within the Company. .  In a key leadership role within the organization, the Director, Assistant Treasurer will provide leadership for the Treasury and Credit Card teams that are responsibly for management of the daily cash liquidity and cash forecasting, oversight of the debt agreements and loan requirements, direction of the daily property reporting controls, management of the cash accounting and treasury general ledger close process, maintenance of treasury services and bank account structures, analytical needs for cash usage, credit card settlement and chargeback trends, and property level point of sale activity.  Additionally, this role oversees is responsible for leading the secured card programs function by managing credit card processes along with technical initiatives involving the integrated credit card solution, and the maintenance of banking and credit relationships. The Director, Assistant Treasurer also supports management through oversight of the Budget and P&L activities related to the Treasury functions such as interest expense and income, bank fees, credit card commissions and chargebacks. This leader maintains several key internal and external customers which include Executive Leadership, Operational Leaders, General Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal, Real Estate Design & Construction, various banks and other key subject matter experts as needed.

    General Treasury Leadership:

    • Lead the day to day functions of the Treasury workstation and cash reconciliations
    • Serve in a support function for Treasury and Finance related subject areas on various project teams
    • Direct and maintain appropriate bank relationships to ensure support when required
    • Maintain documents on bank accounts designating appropriate individuals and their authority
    • Direct the management function for the cash accounting and the Treasury close process
    • Partner with Accounting and other Finance teams for analysis and support of the financial close process
    • Provide analysis of significant financial areas related to Treasury and Credit Card functions

    Direction for Cash Liquidity and Cash Forecasting:

    • Provide oversight of the daily cash position to maintain required cash levels to support cash needs
    • Monitor the cash movement between accounts to ensure efficient cash usage
    • Approve daily ACH and wire activity through the Treasury Workstation
    • Provide oversight of the cash forecasting function and reconciliation to monthly earnings
    • Review daily cash reports and cash deposits

    Debt Service and Loan Requirements:

    • Ensure financing covenants are met and maintained as required by debt instruments
    • Management of the credit partner relationships and ensure participation as needed
    • Direct the monthly preparation of the general ledger debt reconciliations
    • Oversight of the Letter of Credit facility, LOC issuances and reductions, and agreement requirements

    Management of Secured Credit Card Programs:

    • Provide oversight of the Wells Fargo Travel card program and the check storage for AP and Payroll
    • Oversight of the daily activities conducted by the Credit Card team
    • Partner with FreedomPay and Bank of America Merchant Services to manage settlements and chargebacks
    • Review trending and guide analysis on credit card and chargeback activity
    • Oversight of the submission of the daily credit / debit card files
    • Manage interchange and costs associated with the processing of credit / debit card payments
    • Ensure appropriate controls are maintained for the refund process and chargeback process
    • Oversight of the monthly preparation of the general ledger reconciliations on the receivable accounts
    • Serves as the subject matter expert for other departments on credit / debit card related questions


    • Develop and train team members to extend their current skills and capabilities
    • Coach and redirect process improvements to assist team members in achieving success
    • Create a “lead by example” atmosphere among managers and teams members
    • Serve as a mentor among all levels of team members within the Treasury organization


    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required
    • Certified Treasury Professional Preferred
    • Experience – 8 years of Treasury work experience leading a multi-unit Treasury organization
    • Experience –  6 years of work experience in a management role


    • Proven leadership ability
    • Enhanced communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Well organized and detail oriented
    • Possess a high degree of urgency in task management within stated deadlines
    • Bank Relationship Management
    • Past experience with a treasury workstation
    • Credit Card processing and chargeback
    • Cash forecasting and analytical reporting experience

    Highly effective in Microsoft Office with advanced experience in Excel
