    The desktop Administrator position is responsible for providing computing administration for the Columbus Contact Center and @Home agent staff so that they can successfully perform their job functions. Develop and maintain desktop configuration standards. Create effective measures for maintaining desktop integrity. Deploy the appropriate software applications that allow the users to perform their duties in a highly productive manner. Continually update network diagrams and department policies and procedures. Maintain the integrity of the hardware inventory of PCs, servers and networking equipment. Coordinate the administration of networking access and user rights and privileges. Supervise, coordinate and provide guidance to the Contact Center Support Specialist. **Must have** Avaya (AACC), Aspect, PBX and Soft Phones experience.

    • Provide first & second level desktop hardware and software support, troubleshooting, management and security for PC/LAN and laptop/workstation for end-users including executive and senior-level management
    • Build and configure Contact Center employees personal computer hardware and software
    • Maintain all personal computer images to meet company standards
    • Install, configure, move and retire PC equipment
    • Troubleshoot remote access issues
    • Escalate user issues to appropriate IT resources when necessary and follow through to resolution
    • Assist server solutions group to troubleshoot/maintain servers
    • Administer LAN/WAN application
    • Assist IT related projects
    • Provide new hardware/software for users as approved, assist in asset tag control and inventory management
    • Evaluate customer requests in order to develop solutions to complex problems and deploy the appropriate technical solution to meet business need

    • Manage and adapt procedures, processes and documentation as necessary and as business requirements change.


    • Associates degree or equivalent experience
    • Must have Avaya, VOIP, SIP, MPLS experience
    • Certification: MCTS / MCP or related (preferred)
    • Extensive knowledge of PC hardware and software
    • Advanced PC networking experience
    • Understanding of networking technologies and protocols including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP and VPN client configuration
    • Experience with Helpdesk ticket systems
    • Ability to work early morning hours to perform updates during contact center closed window of 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM
