    This position is responsible for category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, development and management of contract agreements in support of the business efforts of G6 Hospitality. This team member must have experience in: sourcing, negotiating, commodity/category management, analysis, business process/practice, and supplier relationship management to draw from. The incumbent will work across multiple business functions throughout the enterprise successfully delivering results in accordance with established G6 Hospitality Procurement policies and procedures. Key objectives include implementation and effective management of relevant supply bases to minimize costs, mitigate risks and maximize results by ensuring quality and supplier performance meet or exceed business expectations. This role also has responsibility for managing master item and documentary files under their purview, as well as the overall accuracy of related commercial transactions.

    • Develop and execute successful sourcing strategies for assigned categories
    • Manage, negotiate,  implement, and monitor supplier agreements in partnership with Director ensuring optimum business terms (e.g. price, quality and service)
    • Evaluate and communicate marketplace trends, new products and technologies, and competition
    • Provide ongoing detailed analysis of respective categories to ensure performance and value for G6
    • Ensure that supplier and/or product/service transitions are contracted, implemented  and managed without interruption to G6 business

    Strategic Supplier Management

    • Develop and manage supplier relationships to the benefit and continued success of G6
    • Manage product development directly and indirectly 
    • Identify and mitigate current/future risks for G6 associated with assigned commodities and suppliers
    • Understand and communicate G6 business needs to insure products/services provided meet or exceed these needs
    • Drive continuous improvement of the sourced solution (e.g. product/service, price, quality, process) ensuring scalability and  sustainability within the enterprise

    Commodity Management

    • Ongoing management of assigned commodities/categories to ensure the needs of the business are met
    • Resolve issues and execute solutions to problems in agreement with Management


    • Maintain database information in a timely and accurate manner to insure smooth ordering, processing and invoicing processes
    • Manage all transaction discrepancies related to assigned commodities/categories in accordance with business processes and applicable contracts
    • All other duties as needed or required


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • 5+ years direct procurement experience (both Products and Services)
    • Knowledge and aptitude of procurement processes including analysis of business needs, writing RFPs, contract negotiations, solution implementation, risk mitigation, and financial/operational impacts to the business
    • Proven success implementing national solutions within a multi-unit environment
    • Solid communication skills with the ability (written & verbal) to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members across the enterprise
    • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to work independently on projects of high complexity with minimal supervision
    • Advanced knowledge in use of Excel to manipulate large amounts of data
    • Strong organizational, planning, prioritizing, and administrative skills
    • Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Oracle applications
    • Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
    • Detail-oriented
    • Demonstrated success in collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to drive results
    • Must be a team player with a “can-do”, service-oriented mindset
