    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Business License Associate is responsible for the timely remittance and payment of all business licenses and permits for all owned properties, such as general operating license, pool permit and boiler license.  This position ensures that all required documentation and payments are made to the various governmental agencies to maintain operational continuity at each property.  The Business License Associate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing applications for permits and licenses, maintaining data-base and file integrity, and communicating with general managers, governmental agencies and other departments.  This individual must be detail-oriented, have the ability to meet deadlines and work well as part of a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare applications for Licenses and Permits
    • Data entry of License and Permit information into custom software
    • Batch checks with back-up documentation
    • Copy all required documentation, permits and licenses
    • Mail documentation to agencies and/or properties
    • Gather necessary information from general managers and/or various departments
    • Contact government agencies for forms and instructions
    •  File all documentation in property files on a weekly basis
    •  Research licensing and permit issues as needed; escalate issues to management when appropriate
    •  All other duties as needed or required

    Qualifications

    • Education – High School Diploma required
    • Experience – 1+ year of data-entry and/or customer service required; Permit and License experience preferred but not required.
    • Skills:
      • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
      • Oracle software experience preferred but not required.
      • Ability to multitask
      • Proven effective communication skills
      • Organization Skills
