    About the Role


    • The primary responsibilities of the CCO include, without limitation, the development, implementation, management and oversight of privacy and other compliance policies throughout the organization.
    • The CCO will design and establish training programs for all team members in the organization to ensure compliance with these policies and all applicable laws. 
    • The ideal candidate for CCO has familiarity with guest privacy and other legal and regulatory concerns confronting the hospitality industry, and should possess solid domain competency in the field of compliance.
    • The ideal candidate is also an integrator of people and processes, a thought leader, a problem solver, and an effective consultant.


    • Bachelor’s Degree, JD Degree Required
    • Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in a combination of compliance related areas, with a key focus on privacy issues and compliance issues impacting guests and customers;
    • Demonstrated experience with law enforcement or other relevant regulatory or governmental agencies
    • Bachelor’s Degree, JD Degree Required
    • Experience within Retail, Restaurants, Hospitality, Multi-Unit, or Franchised Industry preferred
    • In-depth knowledge of and/or experience with relevant data privacy and data breach laws including, but not limited to, U.S. state data breach laws and legislation, PIPEDA, and GDPR preferred.
    • Basic understanding of enterprise data processing and data protection processes and technologies preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Project management skills,; financial/budget management, scheduling and resource management.
    • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.
    • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and prioritizing workload for the team
