    About the Role: 

    The Renovations Reporting Analyst is an integral part of the Renovations Services Team, which is responsible for renovating the franchise network.  This position is responsible for understanding and improving the performance of franchise property renovation processes, creating reports that ensure ongoing transparency and providing data-driven insights to influence decision-making.  Typical responsibilities are planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, analyzing, reporting and completing ad-hoc projects. The Specialist will report and forecast on team performance and provide recommendations, including: monthly and weekly reviews of internal databases to validate forecast projections provided by Project Managers; culling information and formatting reports intended to be used in high level reporting; working with Project Managers to validate data for reporting needs. An aptitude for divergent thinking is required, enabling the Renovations Reporting Specialist to take initiative and function independently on a variety of recurring reports and ad-hoc projects.

    • Analyze, pull and format data from various databases and provide ad-hoc reports
    • Support Renovation Services with developing, building and updating reports including dashboard, goal assessment, performance trends and product supply forecasts
    • Communicate with Project Managers to validate information
    • Track forecasts against budgets and back-up variances with explanations
    • Coordinate and communicate with other departments to maintain accurate and valid information
    • Communicate relevant information to the Director
    • Recognize issues and escalate to the Director or other appropriate personnel
    • Support the Department and the Company in their strategic goals and initiatives
    • Work across and combine data from multiple systems
    • Develop and improve reporting to influence business decisions
    • Create and improve processes to more efficiently consolidate and utilize data
    • Identify gaps and uncover opportunities to improve team performance
    • Willingness to take initiative and provide recommendations that improve processes and results
    • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
    • Effectively communicate with internal customers, departments and other employees
    • Learn and capitalize on experience, as well as share experience to make recommendations

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics or related field
    • 1-3 years of experience in analytics
    • Preferred experience in project controls
    • Preferred experience in scheduling
    • Preferred experience in a franchising environment, real estate or property renovations
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including work with large data sets and pivot table analysis. Database experience a plus
    • High degree of intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a background of continuous improvement
    • Must be able to create positive work relationships within the team and with other departments.
    • Strong interpersonal skills due to the interface with personnel of various levels and backgrounds
    • Ability to self-direct in a fast paced, multi-task environment
    • Business-oriented mindset focused on adding value and achieving creative solutions to complex and challenging problems
