    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    Lead product owner responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the G6 brand websites. Manage and lead a team of eCommerce web specialists to identify, develop and drive online revenue growth through brand websites.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, mentor & lead the eCommerce web team to provide content production, digital asset management, and eCommerce support to internal departments and G6 property locations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and India.
    • Support management of the website feature and functional enhancements by helping to define business requirements and user stories while working with internal and external development teams on prioritization, defect resolution, and quality assurance testing.
    • Liaise between eCommerce and internal and external IT partners to support brand websites functionality and services.  Actively engage with all testing and testing scenarios for brand websites.  Work with partners on any issues that arise with the performance of Brand websites.
    • Manage online research and optimization efforts including usability research, customer experience monitoring, and multivariate (A/B) testing to improve website performance, site conversion and user experience using Adobe Target.
    • Work closely with Manager, Ecommerce Analytics to analyze websites performance and conversion paths for monitoring results from digital marketing initiatives using Adobe Analytics (Omniture).
    • Other roles and responsibilities as assigned by the Director, Ecommerce & Distribution.

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in an eCommerce related position, preferably with a travel or hospitality company.
    • Must possess a strong understanding of enterprise-level web content management, digital asset management. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/CQ) experience highly desirable.
    • Minimum of 2-years of experience of leading and managing a small team including providing project direction, performance and skill mentoring and team development.
    • Exceptional cross collaboration skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal peers and external partners
    • Possess good understating of web analytics including Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics (Omniture).
    • Experience in collaborating with IT resources that follow an Agile Development Methodology.
    • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills are essential.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
