This position is responsible for the analysis and management of Information Technology projects of all types and sizes using proven methodologies and management tools. The person must understand business objectives and utilize tools and resources necessary to deliver the solution. The person best qualified for this position will have a strong UML background (Use Cases, Operating Platform Models, Component and Deployment Models, etc.) while working in an agile environment. This position will be reponsible for ensuring the teams are high performing with respect to Agile/SCRUM guidelines and best practices in a scaled Agile framework. This position is responsbile for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to system/technical requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Candidate must be organized and analytical
Adept at working in a cross-functional team environment
Develop, document and manage project artifacts for the project including but not limited to: schedule, milestones, process changes, test scripts, training documents and deployment plan
Team with Development to produce technical specifications for development and systems integration requirements
Identify system and process deficiencies and recommend solutions
Survey and consolidate feedback from SMEs in all phases of the project
Ensures that project costs are appropriately estimated, tracked, and managed throughout the project
Identifies significant risks to the project and defines actions necessary to mitigate them
Ensures that all material scope changes are identified, sufficiently analyzed, estimated documented and approved before related work is performed
Focuses on project communications such as status, tollgates, financial reporting, and resource coordination.
Ensures that all project deliverables and work products meet the necessary quality standards through checkpoints and acceptance criteria

Ability to work with both field and corporate personnel to achieve needed results in improving the organizations’ effectiveness
Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, or mobile
Experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
Multi-task and prioritize workload and communicate with management on conflicts
Work with a high level of independence
Function in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking to problem solve and provide innovative solutions
Ability to research issues using application knowledge and written documentation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent preferred
Five years project manager experience with technology/business process projects with cross-functional teams
Occasional holiday, weekend and evening hours are required
Must have strong application skills on a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Enterprise Architect a plus)
Strong organizational, planning, prioritizing, and administrative skills; ability to self-direct in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
Able to work with general supervision, and able to make quick decisions
Proven leadership and management skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable and confident to communicate with all levels of Team Members: Executives, Department Heads and line level personnel
