IT Governance, Risk, Compliance Analyst

(Policies and Procedures Writer)

 

G6 Hospitality is hiring an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for IT policies and procedures to support all GRC and audit related efforts. This position will be responsible for ensuring that company policies and procedures are compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard, Information Privacy and Protection (IPP), IT General Controls, State and Federal regulations, company policies and procedures, in addition to any future requirements/regulations. This person will also manage a variety of compliance processes with regard to an overall GRC framework, resolve various compliance related conflicts to amicable resolution with business/operations, and manage projects to meet the stated business benefits while balancing risks.

Responsibilities

Who We Are Looking For

  • Read and interpret documents and instructions from customers, vendors and other team members
  • Experience working with compliance/internal controls teams and external auditors
  • Multi task and prioritize workload
  • Work within the appropriate level of independence
  • Strong analysis skills and experience in documenting IT processes; creating process maps and workflows
  • Quality focused
  • A rock solid and demonstrable command of the rules, uses and forms of the English language
  • Demonstrate adaptability by working effectively in the face of ambiguity; shifts in priorities and rapid change
  • Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • If applicable, ability to travel for meetings with customers, vendors, other employees, and/or other business necessities

 

  • BA in English, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent experience may be acceptable
  • Minimum five years extensive documentation experience, preferably writing IT policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office and Visio with the ability to learn new applications
  • Ability to adhere to corporate standards and styles for consistency; experience with Microsoft Manual of Style is a plus
  • Knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, SOX and other regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of risk and control frameworks, such as NIST, ITIL, ISO 2700x, COBIT
