Marketing Distribution Manager


 Manage all areas relating to third party distribution operations for G6 Hospitality. Maintain and develop revenue opportunities through distribution channels, by managing and overseeing usage of properties on those channels.

The individual occupying this position must be able to perform essential job functions set forth below with or without reasonable accommodation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Account Management

Primary first line of contact with OTAs & Meta-Search support personnel.

  • Manage distribution support

Respond, solve, and track issues relating to franchisee or field operations inquiries relating to the availability of inventory, rates and content for all OTAs and meta-search websites.

Liaise with account team at each OTA and meta-search websites when necessary;

Improve operational efficiencies and processes in managing third party distribution to increase revenue production and improve franchisee satisfaction;

Work with distribution peers, partners and IT to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to connectivity;

May required work after normal business hours or on weekends to support urgent issues on behalf of our properties.

  • Manage property implementation process for franchisees on to 3'd party travel sites.

Primary point of contact with franchise properties, field personneland implementation contact at each OTA and meta-search websites;

Manage implementation schedule and notify all stakeholders (opening team, franchisee,etc.) accordingly;

Oversee all aspects relating to the implementation of new hotels with each channel; ensure proper content, rate description and availability of rate on all ahannels;

Coordinate regular meetings with the opening specialist team and franchise operations to encourage participation of franchisees on OTAs.

  • Distribution Projects

In collaboration with distribution partners and internal stakeholders, identify, prioritize and manage projects to support content optimization to increase revenue production and content scores through OTA and meta-search channels; Support existing distribution tactics to drive demand and revenue to G6 properties via OTAs as requested by

revenue management & franchisees.

  • Manage Distribution Support Specialist to improve team member & department efficiency and performance, and maximize customer experience.

Must step in to support responsibilities of the distribution specialist when required;

  • Must support any other distribution related duties and assignments as needed.


Job Requirements:

  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Support responsibilities after normal business hours and on weekends, as required
  • Communicate effectively with properties, vendors, and other Team Members
  • Multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Must possess ability to work well under strict deadlines.
  • Work within the appropriate level of independence
  • Function in a fast-paced environment
  • If applicable, ability to travelfor meetings with customers, vendors, other Team Members, and/or other business necessities




  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in the hospitality industry in a distribution, reservations or revenue management capacity with a hospitality company or online travel agency.
  • Must possess a strong understanding of hospitality 3rd party distribution to GDSs, OTAs and meta-search websites.
  • Experience with online revenue development through a multi-channel environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills are essential, including ability to meet and communicate with senior level company executives.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook,PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
