Assist in administering G6 Hospitality’s workers compensation program; including responsibilities of First Report of Injury Management, monitoring our Return to Work Program, communicating with our third party administrator, and helping to identify trends and opportunities for improvement to help lower our total cost of workers compensation.

  • Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. FROI Management
    1. Establish rapport and build relationship with operations and third party vendors
    2. Explain worker’s compensation process to all parties
    3. Assess manager’s understanding of injury treatment and care provided.
    4. Listen to concerns, and encourages field employees to call with questions or concerns.
    5. Determine team member’s condition, treatment plan and RTW status - discus with GM, Dr.
    6. Initiate timely and consistent contact with all injured team members to encourage return to work after an injury
  2. Return to Work Program Assistance
    1. Initiate timely and consistent contact with property management
    2. Establish rapport and build relationship with Operations management
    3. Work with GM to explain and monitor RTW process
    4. Obtain work restrictions after each follow up doctor’s appt.
    5. Escalate Lost Time and Complex claims to WC Admin
    6. Assist in Coordinating with Human Resources and Benefit Departments when dealing with team member terminations, return to work and off work status.
    7. Act as liaison between the insurance carrier, TPA, field and corporate management
  3. Assist in oversight of TPA.
    1. Oversee claim assignments within Liberty Adjusting team to ensure proper adjusters are assigned based on severity of injury and/or complexity of claim.
    2. Independently analyze claim strategies and communicate with adjusters        
    3. Escalate and discuss claims requiring investigation or surveillance to claims supervisor
    4. Identify and report to Claim Supervisor cases requiring ongoing or complex medical management.
  4. Work with Claim Supervisor to analyze data, identify trends and assist in development of loss prevention programs.




Additional Functions of Position

  • Prepare Wage Statements for insurance Carrier upon request.
  • Coordinate Response to all WC related subpoenas and interrogatories on litigated files
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and Benefit Departments when dealing with team members terminations, return to work and off work status.
  • Identify and report to Claim Manager cases requiring additional medical management
  • Identify and report to Claim Manager cases requiring surveillance
  • Generates reports as needed or requested for analysis
  • Draw conclusions and makes recommendations to manager
  • Process mail for Risk Department
  • Manage Archival Records
  • Supply Tracking and ordering
  • Complete additional projects and assignments as requested by management.
  • Job Requirements:
    • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
    • Read and interpret documents and instructions from Operations, customers, vendors, and other team members
    • Communicate effectively with Operations, customers, vendors, and other team members
    • Willing to have fun while on the job

    • Must be highly organized and detail oriented

    • Function in a fast-paced environment
    • If applicable, ability to travel for meetings with Operations, customers, vendors, other team members, and/or other business necessities




  • Bilingual required: Spanish speaking
  • 1-3 years customer service experience or office work equivalent
  • High School Diploma required; College Experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Friendly with outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Previous Workers Compensation experience preferred but not required
